Conveyor design standards


- Conveyor belts must comply with the requirements of TCVN 2290 – 78
- The safety requirements of certain types of conveyors that are not specified in the standard must be added to the standards or specifications of each type.
- Conveyors used to transport hot objects must be covered or have partitions at sections passing through the workplace of workers. The temperature of the outer surface of the enclosure or bulkhead shall not exceed 45oC.
- Conveyors transporting volatile and dusty loads must be completely covered and fitted with dust extraction or suppression devices.
- Bucket transporting wet objects must be completely covered with a cover or shield to protect workers from mud and water splashes.

2  - Calculation of roller conveyor design:


Determine the basic parameters:
- Calculation to choose the standard reducer
- Design calculation of out-of-box and coupling transmission
- Calculate the design of some details in the system
- General drawing of the system, including the Gearbox
- Drawing of the reducer box, with sufficient dimensions to determine the space, size and mounting mode with details outside the box and arrangement of foundation bolts

3 - Calculating the design of rubber conveyor belts
