What is a belt drive roller?

Belt drive rollers are widely used in conveyor systems, driven by traction. The roller is transmitted torque and speed between the two shafts to help the roller operate flexibly. Belt drive rollers are designed to be mechanically simple and efficient in transporting products over long distances with a single motor. Bandages are usually made of plastic, rubber, steel, and stainless steel with good tensile and bearing capacity. Belt driven roller conveyor systems are suitable for handling materials of different shapes and sizes.

Disadvantages of using belt drive rollers:

 

• It is easy to slip due to the expansion of the elastic band.
• When dilated leads to incorrect transmission ratio.
• Products with large internal loads cannot be transported due to the force exerted on the belt.
