Intech Group brings green energy to light up a school in Tuyen Quang

On September 12, 2025, in the joyful atmosphere of the new school year, Vietnam Engineering and Industry Group Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Intech Wish Fund and accompanying units organized the handover ceremony of a 6kWp solar power system, storing 14kWh for Lung Cao school (Giap Trung commune, Tuyen Quang province). The project not only provides a stable source of electricity for teaching and learning, but also ignites the belief in a green, sustainable future for students in the highlands.

Lung Cao is one of the remote schools, located precariously between the rocky mountains of Tuyen Quang province, where people's lives are still difficult and many villages have not had access to the national electricity grid. For many years, teachers and students at Lung Cao school have had to study in conditions lacking light, especially on rainy days or cold winters.

However, teachers still persevere in staying in the village to spread knowledge, and students still cross the mountains to go to class with the desire to study like many children in the plains. Based on those stories of determination, Intech and the Intech Wish Fund in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association have deployed the installation of a solar power system for the school, providing a sustainable light source, adding confidence and nurturing the dreams of children in the highlands.

Attending the handover ceremony, representatives of the sponsoring and implementing organization were Mr. Tran Van Nhon - General Director of Intech Solar; Ms. Muong Thi Hien - Chief of Office of Tuyen Quang Young Entrepreneurs Association. Representatives of the school and locality included Mr. Ma Xuan Hung - Vice Chairman of Giap Trung Commune; Ms. Pham Thi Huong - Vice Principal of Giap Trung Primary School. Together with representatives of local leaders, sponsors, press, Intech Solar's solar power system installation team, teachers and students at Lung Cao school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nhon - General Director of Intech Solar emphasized: "We believe that green energy not only serves production or economy, but also has profound humanistic meaning when accompanying education. Completing and handing over the solar power system right on the occasion of the opening of the school year is a gift to encourage the students' learning spirit, helping them have better learning conditions, contributing to nurturing their dreams."

This is an extremely meaningful and timely project for the school. It is not only supporting the facilities, but also showing concern for the future of children in the highlands. The solar power system will create a foundation for the school to organize more meaningful activities for students."

Ms. Pham Thi Huong - Vice Principal of Giap Trung Primary School happily shared: "For many years, our teachers and students have always wished for a stable source of electricity to serve teaching and learning. Today, thanks to the cooperation of Intech Solar, that dream has come true. From now on, students can study in conditions with full light, safer and more convenient."

The project in Lung Cao is part of the community project "Bringing electricity to the village" implemented by Intech Solar and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association. The project aims to support schools and disadvantaged households in mountainous, remote and isolated areas to have access to clean, safe and sustainable energy sources.

In particular, Intech also extends this journey by deducting a contribution fund from each customer project:
  • Contribute 50,000 VND/ 1 kWp to the project "Bringing electricity to the village" when installing a household solar power system
  • Contribute 20,000 VND/ 1 kWp to the project "Bringing electricity to the village" when installing a project solar power system (over 100 kWp)

The contribution for Lung Cao school is taken from the budget of the "Bringing electricity to the village" project and does not affect the cost of solar power installation for customers at Intech Group. This is one of the activities in the chain of social responsibility programs that the enterprise has persistently pursued for many years.

Also on this occasion, thanks to the companionship of charitable organizations, the "Bringing electricity to the village" project has given many more practical gifts to teachers, students and local people, contributing to reducing difficulties in daily life. The gifts, though small, have great meaning, demonstrating the spirit of sharing, community solidarity and joining hands for a brighter future for students in the highlands.

INTECH and the Wish Fund affirm that they will continue to implement charity programs in the coming time, spreading the spirit of "Contributing small sunbeams - Giving thousands of loves" to many other remote villages across the country.
